-The Damned
-The Dead boys
-(not really punk but whatever)The Cramps
-Naked Raygun
-Nekromantix

I think punk will always be around, because its more of an attitude than a music style...and alot of so called "punk" these days has lost this attitude (see emo for examples of this)....

That being said, im not a big fan of the genre...

Well i dont listen to the new shit. My friends do but i grew up on the Toy Dolls and Fugazi and shit like that. So therefore new "punk" can suck my hairy balls

I love that song "Punk is dead". But I am sorry, Fugazi / Ian Mackaye is the last REAL punk of all time. That is stupid they weren't on your last.

Crass had a lot of relevant beliefs. So taking a stand on Racism, Sexism and exploitation of your fellow humans is stupid and unrealistic? Its thinking like that that keeps this world a fucking cesspool.

Sure they've got a punk/emo heritege (Minor Threat, Rites Of Spring and Embrace) but Fugazi isn't a punk band, they're a Indie Rock band.

Get out of the past..... Ian Mackaye the LAST real punk? You've got to be kidding me. There's a fucking army of innovative and relevant modern punk bands that proove you wrong.
