You are exactly right, though in this day in age, I believe the most in a land invasion we would see would be terrorist cells operating in the U.S. going nuts and trying shit...

Also for anyone interested here is a link to a very good online book about surviving nuclear war or chemical warfare...

NUCLEAR WAR SURVIVAL SKILLS

I think everyone, (except convicted felons) should be required to carry a firearm on their person at all times. That way you'll think twice about cutting somebody off in traffic, or complaining about your Big Mac, because you know their packing heat, but they will know you are too...now we have a standoff.

Woah ... are you serious? It's hard to tell with you. When you first started posting, you were pretty serious about everything you said, and you gradually started to loosen up. If you're joking, then PHEW!
If not: Yeah, we might start treating each other with a little more respect, but ... I don't know if I would be too happy living in the society you describe. Every time I set foot out the door, I would be in fear. And a society that is afraid starts falling apart pretty quick.

I agree. If we all did this, all the stupid people would kill each other and not pass on their genes. This would be a huge bonus for the gene pool. We could put them on Darwin Awards too. :)

You do realize that was a joke, right?

HAHA yeah I hear ya!! If that were the case I would walk around with my Desert Eagle brandished on my hip at all times...:D

Hell I pretty much carry my .380 around anyway though, and my .45 is usually in my car...

I've worked in a prison for over 17 years...some people consider my sense of humor as morbid. Like I've said many times before, in my job you have to laugh or scream, (sometimes a little of both) to help deal with the stressors.

To answer your question, I was kidding, I'm pro gun, not pro stupid.
