I can't remember what happened to him in the show......I just checked the wiki and was reminded of how badly the show ended. I recall struggling to watch the finale on multiple occasions.

I guess they'll have to respect what happened in the series and movies. As bad as it became. It would probably be best to have Mulder and Scully investigate stuff on their own for the few episodes.

I honestly cant remember what happened to him. If they want to do it right, it will be like a missed cases sort of thing. Recently declassified. But they would have to give Gillian Anderson 90's hair again. Lol.

I believe he died in the first movie. I'm going to have to watch it again this weekend. I'll let you know.

According to the wiki he died in the finale.
