Back then, all the hazing & razzing was essentially contained to the Welcome Forum though. Anyone that skipped a "Howdy" message and just jumped right in was basically spared. Also, because it took place on every single thread there, it was plain to see that it was primarily done in good fun.

Now such hazing is forbidden so none of us assholes have an outlet for our assholiness and it tends to creep into our regular on-topic posts in the form of snide replies to honest yet naive questions, flat out rude comments or even accusations of new people actually being old banished people returning to cause trouble before they've actually caused any. I'm not really judging any of us for that, I'm sure I do it too on occasion and I'd be surprised if there weren't a few people on here that think I'm a dick. All I'm saying is that we have to be realistic when we're assessing the general tone of this forum. Why it's been getting progressively quiet/slow around here for years isn't that hard to figure out...

For the record... Without question, some members are bigger assholes than others while still others are not assholes at all. I am not calling every person here individually an asshole. Us assholes know who we are.

I like Lost Girl. It's another hidden monster type show. The two leading ladies are cute and have fun characters.
