I'm dying to see Twice Told Tales as I've recently been introduced to Nathaniel Hawthorne. Are there any other movies based on his writings?

I didn't like Last Man On Earth but liked Mother Of Tears and Giallo.

I strongly recommend Viy aka Spirit Of Evil a hugely underrated film in my opinion. Yes it has flaws (night lasting only a few minutes) but if you can overlook those its a wonderful ride of a movie.

I saw Viy recently. Criminally underrated.

I enjoyed Twice Told Tales.

I agree with you on The Last Man On Earth. I didn't care for it at all.

Have not seen Spirit Of Evil. Will have to check that one out.

I don't want to overhype Spirit Of Evil but the russian director I forget his name wasn't allowed to make another horror film after it such was the controversy surrounding it on its initial release. I will just say be patient with it at first it seems woefully flawed and all of a sudden it becomes one of the best cinematography experiences of any film in my humble opinion.
