It depends if you count Texas Chainsaw Massacre, not sure what else it could be, so it will be included.

5. Child's Play (1988)
4. Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007)
3. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
2. A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)
1. Halloween (1978)

I Saw The New Halloween 'remake' And Thought That It Was The Worst Hour And Half Of Film. A Complete Waste Of Time. If It Aint Broke Dont Fix It. A Classic Like Halloween Should Be Left Alone!!

i thought the new halloween was good myers was more intense and more violent and it brought it in to the new ear and the body count was amazing . To answer an earlier question i am refering to the 70s Black christmas . Does anyone remember just before dawn and does the burning have that fat bald guy from seinfield in it . Cheers for all your replies

Halloween (1978) (The remake was crap.)
A Nightmare On Elm St.
Friday The 13th
Hellraiser
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Masters Of Horror: Incident On And Off A Mountain Road
Black Christmas (Original)

why was it crap tell me why i thought it was decent . He was for a start more vicious and the the boring ever ending scene where the youths are walking home is cut to like 10 minutes . I agree the ending was shite but the original uncut movie is totally different to the theatrical release . Its like 20 minutes longer maybe you should catch it.
