I don't think that has ever stopped them before, they usually just try to figure out ways to make it look better than it really is, they try to trick people. Bastards.

You should push it up in priority. As has been previously stated, it's completely derivative and doesn't do anything new for the genre, but I thought it was fantastic. Want to watch it again, actually.

Why does everyone refer to "Oldboy" specifically when referring to this trilogy? Is it just more popular than the other two? Is it a significantly better film?

And do you need to watch Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance before Oldboy?

I'm at a point where I seriously need to see Oldboy and I'm not sure whether or not I should watch "Sympathy" first.

They don't tie into each other but you need to see all three. They're all beautiful stories that "revenge films" to a new level. Oldboy is the easiest of the three for the casual viewer to appreciate but all three are incredible.

I agree, I liked it--I even liked the American version! I think it's the whole idea of Spirit Photography that got under my skin. I SO want to believe in ghosts, and that's the closest to tangible proof I've seen. Makes it creepier when you can convince yourself it's real.

Don't know if this has been said and I said elsewhere on this forum that I am hot and lazy, but Suicide Club anyone? I don't mean founding one. I think it's amazing.
