is it realy so bad trying not to be like everybody else? do i have to be heartless, mindless and verry obediant? anyone have a problem with me being a little underground?

kpropain 02-01-2004 05:29 PM

Diesel Machine, Pissing Razors, Skinlab, Crowbar, Eyehategod, and of course Pro-Pain, now this is real fucking metal. If you haven't heard any of them do yourself a favor and check any of these bands out.

Err... It's somewhat real metal. I wouldn't qualify Skinlab as nothing more than random annoying noise. Crowbar is decent though.

I don't have a problem with you being yourself... Why would you have to try to do that?

Be as underground as you want as well, but why worry when a band is making money? So long as they're still delivering good tunes, then what does it matter?

moonsorrow 02-02-2004 02:29 AM

its the principle... bah, you have to understand me to understand what i mean and thatl take a cuple years of edjucation. you just cant have an avrage person running around sound of noise looking for the sins of thy beloved

The Evil Dead 02-02-2004 08:07 AM

I don't think it would take any education to understand you man... I've been a metalhead for years and have met those that freak out because their favorite bands are actually going somewhere with their careers... I just can't understand why, so long as that band is still doing what they want to do instead of listening to some record label.

moonsorrow 02-02-2004 11:22 AM

thats exactley my point, i loved nightwish, paradise lost and within temptation long before they started apearing on mtv and comercials and i still love them, but this time they made a fucking mc music version of metal...REAL metal and put in in a fucking comercial... you see where im going with this?

Sam The Egg 02-02-2004 12:55 PM

They're making more money, good for them.

moonsorrow 02-02-2004 12:58 PM

your not to bright are you?

Sam The Egg 02-02-2004 12:59 PM

I'm very bright, I just disagree with this "oh, no, this band that I like is getting popular" shit.
