But wasn't Jason dreaming at the beginning? Even if he was dead, he couldn't have been in Hell, because I'm sure if a Hell exists you won't be allowed to do the thing you love most all the time.

I'm pretty sure he was in Hell....

He was killing naked ladies. But they said "You can never die" which I do believe means he was still alive, just not moving, so I guess it meant Freddy was cruising the dream world while he was "Searching for someone who'll make 'em remember"

The subtitle is also "The Final Friday" but that wasn't exactly true, was it?

The movie ends with Jason's mask on the ground (presumably after being sucked into Hell), and then Freddy's claw reaching out to grab it.

So, obviously, like many movie one-line teasers... This tagline is purely ironic.

Yeah man, he went to Hell, obviously.....

Yeah, I don't think Jason went to Hell, he just got up and went to Springwood, if Freddy doesn't have the power to kill people he most likely doesn't have the power to revive the dead. Jason was just lying there, sleeping/unconscious/in a sex coma/whatever until he was told his task by his mother (Freddy) in his dream.
