Get used to it.......change is inevitable. Upgrading doesnt just happen in technology. It happens in EVERYTHING. We......or more, YOU, cant do a damn thing about it. It changes with generations, and sorry to break the news sooooo early, it's gonna continue. MY GOD MOVE ON!!!! Bitch, if you must, but yet another news flash...............the producers, backers and actors, dont care. So see it if ya want. and dont see it if ya want, but it's gonna happen for this, the next, and the next generation. So they can continue to know where it all began.......because when they see the remake, they'll keep the originals alive. They'l wanna know where the remakes came from. See, you all see it as butchering classics........I see it as a learning experience for the deprived. The younger generation that sees it and finds out that "WHOA!!!!! This is a remake? I have to see the previous one, and the one before that", and so on and so on. So take heed.....Hollyweird, or any other moviemaking business could care less what you think. It will continue. And by all means, opinions are cool, dont get me wrong. But complaining gets someone else to want to prove you wrong. So I say, PLEASE continue complaining, I wanna see more remakes.
You're trying to say everything, but ended up saying nothing at all.

:D

re makes..
when they do re makes ..they should keep in mind the original storyline and not add
thier own bullshit.
When seeing a remake ..em like ..wha..
that never happened in the original ..etc.
Like reading a book ..then seeing it up on screen ..'sic' flowers in the attic' one good example..and Silence of the Lambs'
Your figuring ...ooh i enjoyed the book...then the movie must be damned awesome too..
wrong !!in most cases..

Pretty bad, eh? SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!!!! ;):p

Haunted, I'm really not sure what he's up to either :( Probably doing plays or something...I'm pretty sure that's what happens once you stop getting offered movie roles:p

I see where you're coming from, but if they didn't add any new material, then people would get bored, and probably pissed, because they just coughed out money to see something they already have in their collection. I'm not saying that remakes should be chock-fulled with new and improved stuff. I'm just saying that adding a few new things in a remake isn't a bad idea. Now, the movie version of a book shouldn't have anything new added to it (unless it needs it desperatly) because you want to see something you read be performed for you. You don't want anything new because you never seen what you read. You just used your imagine. It's a lot different than a remake.

I remember now, looked it up after reading haunted's post, never seen it but remember passing by it numerous times in blockbuster. Probably wont like it but I'll give any movie a chance.
