I didn't think it was that great - very verrrrry slow. The ending was ok but though they could have done more with it.

Ichi was a better film from the director.

Okay, dont blow the ending for me since the dvd we got through netflix was defective, so i havent seen the last 30 minutes yet, but so far, this movie is great. im not a huge fan of Japanese cinema in general, but i have been very impressed by the acting and character developement so far.

And i do hope that they dont make a remake of this one in american. They should just do a subtitled release a-la crouching tiger, hidden dragon.

yeah agree, its a good film, even non-jap film fans tend to like it :)

I definitley wouldn't wanna blow the ending for you, because to be honest, It's pretty much the only part that I really liked...Of course, you and I have a few 'differences of opinion'... ;)

They escape in a helicopter.

Let me guess, Hugh jackman thinks he's killed him, but it was really a body double?!?! Am I right?!

I didnt like this asian movie....I like a lot of them but not this....maybe i missed the ghost ?

I know I'm in the minority on this one but I was really disappointed by this film. Found it boring and the ending an anti-climax.

Well...I'll share that bottom 2% with you...The ONLY part I really liked was the end, and even THAT was...less than stellar...
