Halloween seems like a great movie to me now. I appreciate the atmosphere which age does not take away. The score still kicks ass. Donald Pleasance kicks ass. I enjoy watching it, because it's masterful filmmaking on a small budget. Same reason I still watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Shining. I've been watching each of these for over 20 years, and they're all among my favorite movies. There's a reason these are deemed classics-because they remain effective decades after they were made.

By the way, Prince Of Darkness is a good movie. Not great, but good.

We watched Psycho in my Film Studies class once, there were about 15 of us, a few, including myself had already seen it, but it did manage to scare/creep out at least three people. And that was in a brightly lit classroom with traffic noises outside, not bad eh?

Films I liked:

1. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 - It was funny
2. Alien Vs Predator - I'm not sure if many people on this forum liked it or not? But I know a few people who don't.
3. Urban Legend - It was just an okay slasher...


Films I didn't like:

1. A Clockwork Orange - I know this isn't horror, but I really didn't like this film, I did turn it off half-way through. May give it another go thou.

Yeah, I didn't like Cabin Fever either, I really thought it was a bad movie and just ripped off others. Maybe I just missed something everyone else saw o.o

I too liked Ghosts of Mars.
Also The Gate II (check it out if you haven't seen it, pure crap...but really fun crap) and Jason X.

I didn't like:
28 Days Later (it's NOT a zombie movie!!!!!!)
House of 1000 Corpses
or any American remake of a Japanese horror movie.
