I'm guilty of saying "dude" once in a while.:(

Dude is okay in moderation.

"hey, dude."

"Dude?"

"Dude, that sucks."

all acceptable.


when they use "dude" instead of your name on a regular basis, that is bad.


A habit i cant stand, people who use "You know" like a punctuation mark....

its weirder when girls say it ..

i worked with a south asian girl once (devistatingly beautiful) and she said it all the time .. but with her accent it was kind of cute ..

OK....I'm safe, I only say it once in a great while....funny thing is after I say it sometimes I think to myself....self...that sounds kinda stupid.

I work with a middle-aged guy from india who uses dude. i fucking love it...

Imagine Apu saying "Hey, dude. i almost fucking had you playing counter strike earlier."

"Hey dude...would you like another slushie"

i never got to know him quite well enough to know if that would offend him, but i doubt it would. he's really laid back.
