Yeah, it is a lot like Army of Darkness in this way.

I just started watching it.... I bought the 3 disc ultimate blindly today, and i'm gonna finish it, but... does it get a little more plottish and a little less random?

A plot of sorts does reveal itself...a little moreso towards the middle/end, then things get kinda strange, well stranger

It got a little better. I wasn't sure going into it if it would be a mindless action film or something deeper. Now that i'm in the mood for nonstop shootfest, it's ok.
