thats a good point ...
when i see a good movie it makes me want to direct movies ..
and when i see a bad one, it REALLy makes me wish i could direct a film ...

its like these movies are directed by people who have never seen movies before ..
they have co concept how bad their dialogue is or how miserable the performances are .. dont they review dailys anymore ?
or is the hollywood machine so full of yes men and fragile egos that no one will put their neck on the line and tell the filmmakers that they are creating shit ?

i'm not talking about back yard student films made with close friends either .. you give those guys allowances.

i saw godsend and the grudge within a week of each other...

nearly crushed my soul like a grape.
