Cloverfield

I really wish they did a 2 disc or something fancy for this one.

And Dante... Your constant fave movie changing is so irritating!

Edit- Fixed

Edit: Wait, is this the original Black Christmas? Or the remake? It's the original that I'm crazy about.

Obviously the original one....

i've got me a futureshop gift card with Cloverfield written all over it.

i sure hope the rest of you folk buying it on DVD saw it at the theatre first .. because it's going to lose 60% of its effectiveness on the small screen.

(thank god i have an 8' screen - otherwise i'd feel weird buying it.

I missed it on the big screen still a decent watch. Got into The Mist a lot more (better/more likeable characters) and [REC] and Diary Of The Dead were better executed.

That was kind of a downfall for Cloverfield...the only really likable character was the dude behind the camera. Rob was somewhere between a total idiot and a raging douchebag...

maybe not likeable - but i thought it was pretty realistic.

people complain that everyone was young and good looking ...

this is a party for a popular guy downtown ...
have you been to a party like this ? they are all young and good looking.

had it been called Daytona Beach and there was a nascar party going on it would be a different crowd.

they'd be teeth challenged, ugly, deformed, and they'd probably try to BBQ and/or fuck the monster analy.

Three times actually :D

I liked almost all the characters EXCEPT Hud. He was dumb. The comic relief made it less serious and I wanted 100% serious...ity

i didnt mind it - again - i know guys like this and i think he acted true to form.

some people in dire situations do use comedy as comfort - and i really didnt think he went over the top .. he was a naturally goofy guy - and he was scared and nervous. .. it worked for me ...

(i had to admit the flaming homeless guy line made me chuckle)

True. I just think it took away from the fear aspect.
