They're great pets - affectionate (VERY affectionate), smart, sweet-tempered. They're more work than your average cat; you need to make sure to keep them warm (though that shouldn't be a problem for you as you're in CA), you need to bathe them once a week (they get dirty crawling on the floor all the time and have NASTY earwax that needs cleaning) and their eyes need to be cleaned once a day (they have no eyelashes, so debris can build up and cause eye infections). They're sensitive to eye and ear infections (Ripley has already had an eye infection, but we took care of that quickly), but as long as you take care of them, they're fine.

I highly recommend them as pets. I adore mine. :) If you have any questions about the breed, feel free to PM me.

I have a question:
We had a red beta fish named Jet Li and I personally thought that to be a mighty heavy name for a fish but what the fuck do I know....would it be wrong or bad luck to name a new animal (possibly another kitten soon to join my zoo) the same name? (the beta died months ago)

Also:
is it bad form to name an animal someone's full name?
We will be getting another dog soon and I want to name him Bruce Campbell

Sounds overly superstitious to me

Ditto - What a gorgeous animal!! I'm a fan of Siamese myself.

Nova - I think that Jet Li is a perfect name for a kitten. Consider it an homage to not only the actor, but the lost fish as well. ;) And you can definitely use "Bruce Campbell." Leeloo's full name is Leeloo Dallas Multi-Pass.

I LOVE THAT NAME!
I'd totally steal leeloo's name on coolness alone:cool:
I'm going to try and get some new shots of Tyler and Baylee today, they are hilarious when they play together.

Sunday was my doggie's (Solo) birthday, he turned 3. Here's a pic of me giving him a birthday kiss, or maybe it was the other way around. :)
