The previews to me where misleading about this movie.I didn't get to see the end casue my dvd player messed up, plus the dvd was scratched.I seen a little over and hour and it was just boring. You kept thinking something was getting ready to happen, then they kept throwing in crazy people romance.

jenna26 09-29-2007 02:47 PM

Click ~ had its moments, I laughed more than I thought I would, and it had a moral to the story...... Some of the "comedy" just wasn't funny to me though. I have however come to the conclusion that it is just impossible for me to completely hate any movie with Christopher Walken in it...lol.

Nothing gets funnier than Blazing Saddles, in my humble opinion.

Pretty crazy film. I really liked it. Fine acting from Ashley Judd, Michael Shannon, and Harry Connick Jr.
Superb directing from William Friedkin.

Deadly Friend - 6/10

D-War aka Dragon Wars.

Hummmmm...where to start? The trailer and promos promised so MUCH, and I was so excited too, after hearing that it beat The Host's box office records...and the buildup and premise was good.

What went wrong, then...you might ask?

Where D-War failed, was the execution. The story falls out after the first 10 minutes, the acting is mediocre at best (with some characters gawking stupidly as if they didnt know what to do) and the direction is a BIG let-down.

If the director thought that the CGI sequences could redeem a bad movie, he was HELLA wrong. Its mouth-watering to imagine a huge-ass serpent wrapping itself around a 100-floor skyscraper...but wtf is it doing there in the first place? Even when the CGI is absolutely gorgeous, the overall movie falls flat because of the stupid scripting and lame direction.

Even kids wont like this one. Stay clear. I give it a 04/10, and I am being generous for its CGI.

The Abominable Dr. Phibes ~ Haven't seen this since I was a kid, wonderfully creepy.

Aeon Flux ~ not great, but entertaining.

Monty Python's The Meaning of Life ~ I have to admit that I disliked some of it, but what I liked, I loved.

Unbreakable

Other way around for me. I was excited until I saw the trailer and promos.

Saw ''The Kingdom'' last night, very good imo. It goes in and out of decent pacing and dragging a bit, but the humor carries the bulk of the film pretty well to the climax, which is pretty intense and damn near perfect.

7.9/10

Watched "Vacancy" last night.
Not very good at all, and luke wilson continues to be one of the most bland actors I've ever seen.

Dead Mary

The story starts slowly but later on it got some own scary moments. The ending could have been much better. Overall, It's far better than some recently released overrated movies.
