i watched re-animator at this drive/music/punk/rockabilly festival we have every year here in atlanta.
i couldn't think of a better place to view this movie again as w/ a thousand rowdy punks, a paps in my hand, lying in the back of my car. |

3:10 To Yuma
the western is alive and well |
Hatchet. 08/10
This is a movie which should be billed "a complete horror experience". Largely on the veins of a slasher with doses of black humor thrown in...with some really great performances and superb, pacy direction...this is one movie you should NOT miss. At all. |

The Exorcist III Legion
>>: B- Wrong Turn 2: Dead End ....WT2: Gore Feast I think it could be the more approriate name for this sequel. >>: C+ |
One called "chain of fools".
Got the dvd months ago for $2AUD, and it's just been sitting here. Surprisingly watchable comedy... |
-Final Destination 3.
-Eyes Wide Shut. |
The Usual Suspects (1995)
Utterly predictable, and sloppily acted. Spacey really won an Academy Award for this? I wasn't impressed. |
HATCHET
tons of fun. It ain't rocket science, but it's a blast...and there is a grand total of ZERO digital effects...everything is practical and in-camera. A good time for fans of slashers. 8/10 |
House of 1000 Corpses. The 70s vibe in that movie still freaks me out. It's either too short or too rushed at the end though.
|
Memory
& Perfume Sigh, I am just going to stop asking for recommendations on flix:rolleyes: |

I LOVED that film. A beautiful, creepy, period costume thriller by one of the best directors working today! 9/10 The Warrior and the Princess Tom Tykwer is one of my favorites and this one is a great, weird little romance that is anything but traditional. 8/10 |
The Wild 9/10

The Collingswood Story
Review coming soon. |

I have a very, VERY low tolerance for anything emotional with babies now that I've popped out three...it's a hormone thing;) and so, since that was the was way the whole movie STARTED , I was pretty much ruined for the rest of the film. |
Encounter with the Unknown (1973) - trio of spooky stories supposedly based on fact. Narrated by Rod Serling. I saw this about a million years ago and located a copy on video. I gotta tell ya, it works!

Life is a Miracle (2004) 10/10
|
Last seen horror flick is Rose Red. Eh... It's Stephen King. Right before that I watched Toothfairy. For a not overly advertised film it was pretty good. The story was a little basic, the graphics were decent, but still not comparable to any big names. Also I saw Nosferatu the 1970 rendition. It was... well Nosferatu.

It Happened One Night (1934)
Flawlessly acted and directed, boasting an outrageous storyline with a superb sense of humor. Academy Awards well-deserved. |
Murder Set Pieces

Heartstopper 5.5/10
There was an interview with Robert Englund on the disk, gessh, name drop city Hannibal Riseing, 7/10 I thought this was pretty damn good... Sleepy Hollow, 8/10 I hadn't seen it for 7 years, I had forgot how good it is. Letters from Iwo Jima, 6.5 / 10 It is interesting to see Clint Eastwoods representaion of the other sides story, not bad, but a little slow for a war movie .. |
hide and seek.....
boring waste of time... but not bad.... my mum enjoyed it... her type of film she said.... not mine :D |

De Niro acted like a dick head in that... Why does John Polson make such bad movies when he was such a great actor????? |
just watched 300 - probably should have seen it on the big screen but, to be honest, i thought it was crap

Babylon 5: The Lost Tales

Bridge to Terabithia ~ a good family film, I loved the book when I was a kid, and they did a pretty good job with it.
Grudge 2 ~ nothing special, but watchable I suppose. |
Watched The Devil's Rejects last night for the second time. I didn't like it as much as House of 1000 corpses, but I did like it better than the first time around.
Then today i watched Cube Zero and I loved it. So glad everything from the original was cleared up, especially the end. The opening scene was so bad ass, too. |
Love At First Bite (1979)
Creepshow (1982) Dracula (1931) |
Death Sentence.
|
Silver Bullet.
Red Dragon. The Grudge. Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 With Commentary. Robin Hood. |
Death Proof
>>: C+ Hostel part II definitely much better than the first part. >>: B |
about halfway through the Host. So far, I love it. I had no idea it was supposed to be funny, but I have been laughing my ass off, and the monster is great, very original.
|
Dog Soldiers
|
Idiocracy- I know it was supposed to be dumb, but it really was TOO dumb.It did have a few funny moments, but overall it was pretty forgettable 5/10

Godzilla vs. Megalon. One of my all time favorite big rubber lizard movies.
