The Lookout - 7/10 Cool Crime Drama with good story and acting.

Vacancy - 5/10 Well.... it didn't suck, but Luke Wilson is not a good dramatic actor.

It really didn't do much for me, seemed too much like Filthy McNasty or Mulva (although it WAS better than those two). I don't know, the jokes just didn't hit for me although the gore was silly and fun.

I started to watch what I thought was Quentin Tarantino's "Make Positive That William Doesn't Live Anymore Vol. 1" but it turned out to be "Make Positive That William Doesn't Live Anymore Vol. 2" and I haven't seen either yet, so I'm waiting so I can just sit down one day and watch the complete "Make Positive That William Doesn't Live Anymore" experience.

no.

each SECTion (in my case saxophones) go and work on the show music seperate from other sections. no particulary sexual things go/went on, but since there's only 2 girls in our section it's pretty hard to avoid.

*nothing perverted is to be taken from this explaination. although now that i read it....damn it all to hell*

"why even try to defend the fact that no one actually has SEX at band camp....at least where i am? why am i wasting the words?"

"you know, i really don't know."

"you do know it is quite profane don't you?"

"YES! but no one actually has sex. we all just have dirty minds."

"well, then maybe he has a point."

"shut the fuck up."

yes, i have these conversations frequently with myself

massacre man 08-18-2007 08:39 PM

This one time at band camp I did something with myself besides have a conversation, it involved a drum set and a tuba.

I completely understand, I broke the all-time sexual slang-term record last year at school. My teacher asked me not to talk anymore after she read my paper.

I am the king of writing down all sexual slang-terms I can think of on a piece of paper in a minute. I am the "Slang Term Dominator" (Haha, get it?)

Back on topic of "LAST SEEN FILMS"

The Dirty Dozen

Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson, John Cassavettes, Jim Brown, Telly Sevales, Ernest Borgnine, George Kennedy...how can you go wrong? I rented this one because my eldest recently watched Saving Private Ryan and is suddenly into WWII flicks. Needless to say, he wasn't disappointed.

10/10

Next WWII flick for him to see...Kelly's Heroes
He also just sort of started to understand how cool westerns can be (he fell in love with GB&U & Django ) so tomorrow we'll watch Unforgiven

I love raising a cinephile:D

massacre man 08-18-2007 09:23 PM

I swear to God I thought that said "Kelly's Herpes" when I first scrolled by.

But anyway.

Ali G In Da House. Borat is better.

Freak 08-18-2007 09:39 PM

Fear 6/10 One of Mark Wahlbergs better films IMO.

forrest gump - 8/10

i'm still kind of watching it, but i've seen about a million and one times so i don't think it really matters. i've come to realize all the stuff that he did was in the context of major world events these past thousands of times i've watched it. i love how he informed on the Watergate thing (alas, if only Forrest Gump was a real person history would be so much more funnier).

Labyrinth - 10/10

i love this movie, so i guess i'm kind of bias. so whether anyone else doesn't think it's worthy of 10 i don't give a fuck. David Bowie can be my Goblin King any day (except now he's, like, four times my age).

Vodstok 08-19-2007 06:31 PM

Fine, my weapon of choice:

Harsh Language.

Or a throw pillow.

Pick one and I shall smite you.

Oh and I saw the simpsons movie. FUnny as hell, I loved it :)

However, did anyone else notice the bart wang shot? pretty disturbing.
