(remake) Night of the living Dead 9/10

You know, this movie got a lot of flack for being remade. But the fact that Romero rewrote the script and had something to do with it would have given it more credit. Yeah the acting was not that great, but Tony Todd pulls off an awesome performance which makes you forget about the others.

Tom Savini directed this and I could not think of a better person (maybe Zombie) to have done this. Tom has done a lot of films with George, they make a good collaboration.

Is the original better, yeah. But this was a good remake.

The Devil's Rejects, and Reservoir Dogs.

Satanico Pandemonium 6/10

Marroe 06-09-2007 08:19 PM

"Shrek the 3rd" at the movies, and "You, Me, and Dupree" on HBO. I finally have movie channels and I am watching every piece of shit that comes on;)

monalisa 06-09-2007 09:32 PM

I was Vin Diesel'd to death last night. We watched...

Pitch Black
The Chronicles of Riddick
A Man Apart

Actually, they are all fairly good movies. But that was just a wee bit too much Vin for me for one night.

Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon

with a good level of humor & such a interesting plot, I enjoyed the movie though there is very low amount of gore in this slasher flick!

Watched most of Truffaut’s Shoot the Piano Player. Turned it off about 2/3 of the way through. I’ve just read the novel it’s based on – Down There, by David Goodis – and the film didn’t add anything to the book, and removed a lot of good stuff, too, so it didn’t feel worth it.

I have this movie, and have had it for a long time. I never actually got around to watching it though. Maybe I'll do that in the next few nights.

House Of 1000 Corpses.
And Silent Hill.

jenna26 06-10-2007 07:51 AM

S.I.C.K: Serial Insane Clown Killer ~ I didn't see any clowns getting killed here, what a pity...... So bad it is just funny. Really, really, really bad.

The Nun ~ as much as I love the idea of an evil or vengeful nun as a villian in a horror movie, it doesn't deliver. Pretty lame "twist" as well. Doesn't fit into the so bad it is fun catagory, its pretty forgettable. But surprisingly, some of the visuals are pretty good.

Subject Two ~ actually liked this one. A pretty interesting Frankenstein tale. It doesn't explain itself very well at all, and is a bit slow at times. But the character is sympathetic, the story is intriguing, and the setting is nice. Oh and a nice little twist at the end. Not bad. :)

It's just a vintage car that they added a few extra parts to round off the front and cover up two of the four headlights. Pretty simple to build if you are a fabricator actually.

Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Myers

This wasn't actually as bad as everyone plays it out to be. I actually enjoyed it personally. The sad part is that this was Donald Pleasance's next to last movie. He was probably one of my all time favorite actors. But anyway:

7/10

I haven't watched H20 or Ressurection yet. I was watching them in order. I thought the fourth one wasn't too bad and the fifth was interesting, though I don't remember much about it. Everyone hates the third, but I didn't think it was a bad movie. It was just missing Mr. Myers.

Wensday13 06-10-2007 11:42 PM

Ive always thought the third Halloween was a pretty good. Alot of people dont like it because it had nothing to do with the first two. Some people cant get over the fact they were mislead by the title. Despite that, it was a good way to kill two hours.

But...............The last movie I watched was The Good, The Bad, and The Ulgy.

bwind22 06-11-2007 05:44 AM

R.S.V.P.

This movie pretty much sucked. Pretty lame plot with no real motivation for the killer, pretty bad script, average acting, less than stellar kill scenes... The only plus was that it had Jay (of Jay & Silent Bob fame) in a pretty prominent role in which he basically plays that same character (no Kevin Smith by his side though).

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

It seemed more off the wall to me than the first 2, if that seems possible, but I enjoyed this one more.

BH14 06-11-2007 09:11 PM

I just watched "See No Evil" and it was better than I expected. I really thought it would be a horrible movie because it is from WWE. I kinda thought it was good as it had a good plot and some nice gory deaths. It wasnt a great movie but I enjoyed it better than the horrible "The Hitcher" remake and even "Hannibal Rising".

Gentlemen Death 06-11-2007 09:25 PM

The Hitcher remake was pretty blah.....It really bothered me how they transfered parts between the girl and guy....I just could not get over that for some reason....The music was good in it, and Sean Bean oozes with evil in the flick.....Maybe I will give it another shot in about a year....

Terminator 2: foregot how much i love this movie, and how much i wish Edward Furlong was my age. 9/10

Girl Interrupted: really like this move too, love the book though, anyone who has not read it must, IMMEDIATELY. it's really good. 7/10

i watched these this morning, like when i should've been sleeping.

Shadow 06-12-2007 06:28 AM

Silver Bullet
Was watchable but not all that interesting or active.
First kill was good in a cheesey way from then on I was bored (I fell asleep on first attempt to watch).
Probably not one I will watch again.
