My first time viewing this film, and it wasn't bad at all. Not my favorite movie, but still up there. Better than a few of the crap movies I've seen recently.

7/10

I loved it.

The ending is so damn good. :)

I think i'm gonna watch it tonight. Been too long..

Yes, the ending was very good indeed. Probably the best part of the movie.

The Nun

Alright, so in a way, I'm kind of sorry I even wasted my time with this. The acting was horrible and it wasn't the best story I've ever heard, so it's not something I look forward to tomorrow (though I have to). The ending was this movies only saving grace, though you could still see it a mile away.

5/10

Scorsese on Scorsese (2004) (T.V. Documentary)

Fairly interesting, but not personal enough.

Mission: Impossible 3 [2006]
Not at all a fan of this series. Watched it because I was bored. Meh.

Accepted [2006]
Not very funny at all. There's just something about that Jeeper Creepers/Mac commercial kid that's a complete turn-off. Hope he doesn't get in the way of Live Free Or Ride Hard too much.

Are You Scared? [2006]
First of all, no, I wasn't. Secondly, is this not the biggest reipoff of Saw or what? Terrible.

Pan's Labrynth

After hearing nothing but good things about this film for the past several months, my expectations were fairly high. As usual, when I get my hopes up, they are quickly crushed. I found this movie to be too long, boring and slow paced to get in to at all. Sure, some of the visual effects were great, but by the point we reached them, I didn't give two shits about the characters, the story or the film itself. Plus, from what I could tell, most of the visually spectacular stuff was revealed in the previews. I wasn't impressed or entertained by this one.

C-

Apocalypto

This was cool. Dark story, lots of violence and action, and the subtitles didn't bother me because they kept the dialogue to a minimum. I really enjoyed this one. Great film.

It wasn't the worst I've seen, but it wasn't anywhere near great. And yes, that movie had the name SAW all over it.

An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood, Burn

I had heard this was a very bad movie, seems like EVERYBODY hates it with a passion... but not me. I kind of liked it.

"The Last King of Scotland" 4/10

I have no problem whatsoever about Forest Whitaker taking home the oscar for that performance, coz that was outstanding. The movie, on the other hand, wasn't!!!

Shame, I thought it was an extremely entertaining flick. Why didn't you like it?

Because I thought it was extremely boring.

Only the last 10 minutes was intense. But the first 110 minutes was very.................very......................... . slooooowww..

Vodstok 06-04-2007 09:57 AM

Disturbia. Not bad. Not great. Interesting enough to sit through once, but kinda tired of rear-window remakes. Or any hitchcock remake for that matter.

The Hitcher (remake). Liked it a lot. bloody, unrepetant, brutal. very nice. too bad i watched it before disturbia or i would have ended last nights viewing a little happier.

Apocalypto
Amazing costuming, make-up, gore, sets and a dizzying pace makes this one a damn good time, but...

SPOILER WARING
I'm not buying the solar eclipse scene at all. The Maya were incredible astronomers and mathematicians. They mapped the paths of the sun, moon and stars with incredible precision - I'm pretty sure they'd know exactly when a solar eclipse would occur.
END SPOILER

other than that - fun stuff, excellent visual story-telling
