THE BABY (1973). Grieving Social worker takes on a case of "Baby", a Grown man still in diapers, bottle crib etc and begins to butt heads with his frankly scary Mother (Ruth Roman is great) and two unusual sisters. This is really more of a Social drama than the Horror movie it's being advertised as, but a LOT of extremely off the wall moments help out and THE BABY is certainly worth a watch -remember seeing it for my 13th Bday and just last week on YOUTUBE. ***

When A Stranger Calls (1979)

This one is actually pretty scary especially in the beginning portion... the music, the suspense gives you a dreadful horrific feeling,, which than after begins with some goofy 70's style social scenarios which kinda put you at ease, but honestly I don't think it was necessary or atleast not have it drag out like that funny bar scene, maybe they didn't wanna put the audience through too much dread? Much better than the remake, which I also enjoyed, but not as good (they were obviously trying to appeal to a generation not as used to crazy horror movies like the audience of the 70's and 80's.)

This one never gets old to me, and I just recently watched the second film for the first time in years and I thiiiiink I prefer it to the first. At any rate, they're both so good.
