The Driller Killer

HELL COMES TO FROGTOWN (1987). Sam Hell is the last "Fertile" man standing in a post Nuclear War Earth who is kidnapped by a Govt branch to begin "Re-populating" the world (Sounds like a tough job, no::big grin::). First, He has to rescue a group of women who have been kidnapped by a town of mutated Frog-Men before commencing.
The premise of this is intriguing, but the film itself doesn't make it all the way. A bigger budget may have helped, but Sandahl Bergman is great as the leader of the Govt Branch and staying very much in character after just leaving the WWF, former Pro wrestler "Rowdy" Roddy Piper is pretty good in here and most of the laughs come from him. **1/2

Pretty weird film, eh? A bit avant garde in it's story telling and seemingly side story vignettes.

Just as good as I remembered it.

Very weird, especially that punk band, idk what i think about that music, that one guy was getting pissed at it probably for a good reason hahaha
I enjoyed the movie though!

Just watched that recently for the first time. It's cool I noticed they used the opening creepy sounds of Rick Springfield's song Walking On the Edge throughout the movie. ::cool:: Cool eye effects on the demons, some classic shots.

Yep, its that time of year. Tonight i will probably watch Night of the Comet, another oldie but goodie!
