Oh, the end is very effective. Absolutely.

The 131-minute, composite/extended version of:

Basically mixes the scenes from all 4 Cuts - original Theatrical, Director's, Restored Director's & Hybrid - and makes it one, long, complete film.

I just had to see it.

I saw Ben as a kid, but never seen Willard 1971.

Have to agree with You here...thought Crispin was really good in parts, especially when he's talking to the Insurance agent at Mom's funeral, but found his pleading for his job to be embarrassing. R Lee Ermy is funny and mean here as usual. Not bad, but could have been better.
Saw BEN with my brother in 1973, but not since then. Guess it's time to put it on NETFLIX.

THE OMEN 1976). This has still held up rather well and really a good film. Skip the 2006 remake. ****

THE BROOD 1979

A psychotherapist's rather unconventional methods prove to have rather far reaching effects on the family of one of his patients. Chilling with a touch of Hugh Hefner grooviness.

Unconventional methods indeed! The Brood is a baffling viewing experience. The proceedings are Often not easy to watch but it's all so chilling and effective. Cronenberg does it again! ::big grin::
