The Thing (1982)
I.M.D.B.
It's the first week of winter in 1982. An American Research Base is greeted by an alien force, that can assimilate anything it touches. It's up to the members to stay alive, and be sure of who is human, and who has become one of the Things.

(In celebration of Collector Edition Bluray)
It's been 20 years since I first watched it so it felt like the first time. And I absolutely loved it. Brilliant suspense and tension, great characters, impressive makeup - overall this is a fantastic movie experience, the influences from which can be seen in so many movies since. Probably my favourite of the Halloween horror month so far. Highly recommended.
9/10

Which one? The original or the piece of crap remake with Rob Lowe?

ALIEN (1979). While the sets are still amazing, the film takes it's sweet time until "That scene" and then it really becomes intense. ****

The original, with Hutch! ::big grin::

Levres de Sang (Lips of Blood). Quite possibly my favorite Jean Rollin film.
