THE BEST OF SEX AND VIOLENCE (1982). GREAT party tape filled with lots of the title, mainly Charles Band/Jerry Gross exploitation flicks. All trailers with wry commentary from John Carradine. Some of the films shown are ZOMBIE, I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, THE DEVIL'S WEDDING NIGHT, TERMINAL ISLAND, SWEET SUGAR (the last two starring the incredibly beautiful Phyllis Davis), EBONY IVORY AND JADE (your jaw will drop), DR BLACK AND MR HYDE (ditto) and closing with the DOLEMITE triolgy...you'll be screaming to friends and family members "PUT YOUR WEIGHT ON IT!!!" after seeing the final preview for DISCO GODFATHER. ***1/2

Night of The Leapus.
It was so stupid! I have never had so many laughs in my whole life!

EQUINOX 1970

In some articles I read, this movie was thought to be the possible inspiration for Evil Dead. Two couples are caught in the mountains for more than a picnic. They come across an old book and are then set upon by monsters trying to retrieve the book.

The monsters were stop motion and reminded me of Ray Harryhausen.

That's a really awesome film. I'm always making plans on making a film like that.
