During a blackout a doctor and his family are terrorized by 4 escapees from the hospital where he works. Great scares by some pretty twisted nuts.

Jack Palance, Donald Pleasence and Martin Balsam make this very interesting.

Weirdly I was just talking about this film yesterday - it is underated for sure. Martin Landau has a stand out performance in it. Killers Moon is another great escaped madman film.

Too right. It is underrated. I just happened upon it on you tube.

Howling
10 out of 10 would watch again. Also realized this round that Dee Wallace has the most delightful scream I’ve ever heard from a female. I usually prefer male screams as they’re less painful on the eardrums.

Death Warmed Up
Not terrible despite the shit video quality.

Aliens
Loved it. Watched it twice. Bishop is bae.

Jaws
For Fourth of July watching of course.

Jason Takes Manhatten
One of my favorite Fri13th sequels, don't judge me.

Friday the 13th
Friday the 13th Part 2
Friday the 13th Part 3

Also good for watching for Fourth of July festivities.

Visited my sister in Chicago last week and she's a big 80s horror fan, so we picked out something sort of out of the ordinary (for me at least) and watched "The Changeling" with George C. Scott. I'd never seen it and we had fun watching. Not too bad. :)

I saw this movie for the first time back in the 80's at a theater with my sister. It scared the bejeezus out of me but I loved It!

BLOOD AND LACE (1971). After Bloof's stirring review/observations, decided to give it another spin. still silly, but way sleazy and Gloria Grahame is really good in here. ***1/2

WIZARDS (1977). Very strange, but interesting animated Ralph Bakshi film. Lots of Tolkien references in here. ***1/2

THE DEAD ZONE (1983). Very good adaption of the Stephen King novel with stellar turns by Christopher Walken and Tom Skerrit. ***1/2
