THE LADY IN WHITE (1988). Really good ghost story/coming of age film with good performances (although the "comedy relief" of the older brother/grandfather wears thin quick) and some almost Lewton-esque scenes . Most people don't seem to know about this and it deserves a wider audience, in my opinion. ****

THE VAMPIRE LOVERS (1970). After seeing Hammerfan's photo of Ingrid Pitt (from WHERE EAGLES DARE) decided to break out the DVD again. Hammer's money situation was starting to give their films a threadbare look at this time, but still a lively good time. Ingrid was so beautiful that it hurt as well as being one ferocious vampires. Add Peter Cushing and You really can't go wrong here. ***

The Incredible Two Headed Transplant - This is the first movie I ever remember watching on my own on the Saturday afternoon show. I had a whole bunch of yard work to do the other day and just literally walked past the tv and it was starting - so much for the yardwork!::shocked::

You'd think a one headed transplant would be difficult enough... but a two headed transplant! That is a truly incredible degree of difficulty. A bit of a lateral improvement for the two-headed folk, but for science.

So you ended up of two minds on the yardwork?

THE HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD (1970). Love this film...so silly, but so hard to resist,,,kind of like half price Halloween candy! Lots of my favorite actors in here (Ingrid, Peter< Christopher, Denholm) and pretty spooky in places, but lots of laughs, particularly in "The Cloak". ****

Many of John Carpenter's movies are classics. There are still a few that I haven't seen and one or two misses. But when he hits, he really makes something that has to be seen. They Live never gets old.

Did you finish the movie?

I love the music in Terminator. I was listening to it yesterday as I'm getting a poster. It's the best Terminator poster that I've seen.
