They Live -

When I watch this movie it always seems to be relevant. I don't know why. People who have never seen it or haven't seen it in a while should watch it. Another classic Carpenter movie.

I saw this in the theatre with my sister. It was so scary, I hung a handkerchief off my glasses (yes, I was old even back then). I was trying to get a laugh out of my sister but secretly I was scared sh*tless.

VAULT OF HORROR (1973). Amicus anthology that isn't as much fun as TALES FROM THE CRYPT or ASYLUM, but certainly not bad. My favorite story is the incredibly anal Terry-Thomas ("A place for everything and everything in it's place!) who drives his wife to extreme measures with his nitpicking. ***

Re-Animator

Sleep? Pfft what's that.

The Boy Who Cried Werewolf

Sooooo glad I was able to record this when it was on tv. It's one of my unappreciated werewolf favorites. The muzzle design was so well done and inspired, I'm surprised make-up artists weren't further influenced by it. Really a waste, but the movie has more going for it than just that. Like Bible thumping hippies!

Watched about half last night and the rest tonight. Never seen it. Glad you recommended it. My cup of tea.

THE TERMINATOR (1984) Wife and I saw this with our Best Man (a couple of months before tying the knot) and she literally chewed her nails to the quick. Despite the cheesy 80's fashion/music, still an incredible bad assed thrill ride with lots of actors I like. Worth seeing again and again. ****1/2

Love it. I even found a button at MonsterCon last year to put with my collection. ::smile::
