House of the dead 2&3 for nintendo wii x]
I dno i just love these kind of game's, even though the graphic's aren't that good, i did prefer the first one to this one though ;p
&& then Obscure 2 which is quite strange but yeah, then evil dead fistfull of broomstick, then that bully game(its kind of weirdly addictive), then buffy the vampire slayer and then grand theft auto X] im a video game addict.

Phalanx 09-27-2008 06:50 AM

Finished onimusha...nothing much on the ps3 except for more GTA4...
Next on ps2 will be either black or COD: BRO
Played neither yet but they look pretty decent.

The_Return 09-27-2008 07:42 AM

Finally got back to God of War (PS2)...forgot just how badass that game is.

Phalanx 09-27-2008 07:59 AM

Definately in ps2s top 5.

For some reason, I never liked that game.

Phalanx 09-28-2008 05:36 PM

Started playing BLACK, which my brother loaned me. (PS2).
Up to the third stage now.
I have to say thus far I'm pretty impressed, especially considering it came out a while ago now. Reminds me of soldier of fortune meets (slightly) call of duty.
Great visuals, enemy AI is alright, great musical score - really good.
Only three things stopped this from being just about the perfect FPS experience:
*Linear terrain
*Can't jump...
*Aim is just a tad slow, and no option to increase sensitivity.
I feel that these things stopped it from living up to full potential.
But seriously, not really any huge complaints...f they made a sequel (which I hope they do) I'd pick it up for sure.

urgeok2 09-29-2008 08:18 AM

my kid has been playing Lego Batman (i helped him get past Mr Freeze)
he's also been playing the new Star Wars game - force unleashed or something like that - it looks pretty cool.

i myself havent played a game for ages - cant get back into it.

Vodstok 09-29-2008 08:48 AM

I am still deep in rapture killing splicers.

had a good laugh last night when i blasted a female splicer with Sonic Boom them let her have a frag grenade in the face before she could get up. when the moke cleared, all there was was her bunny mask and pair of legs sticking out of the floor :)

From Russia with Love.
Pretty arcadey. I never mind a Bond game though.

Elvis_Christ 10-06-2008 01:30 AM

The Warriors

Phalanx 10-06-2008 04:03 AM

Man, I loved that game...as a fan of the film it made me happy how they handled it...Rockstar ought to branch out more.
Forget the tablertennis stuff, but games like Bully, Max Payne, the warriors, and smugglers run show that GTA is not the one trick this company knows how to do well...I look forward to seeing more of their stuff in future.

LA Noir should be great.

The Flayed One 10-06-2008 09:03 AM

I'm actually playing Bully, which I think is insanely fun.

Jacob Singer 10-06-2008 09:58 AM

You should rent it. Its very interesting maybe if your smarter at video games then me you can explain to me where the ax is! You need it for like all the blocked doors in that game and im yet to find it.

Vodstok 10-10-2008 01:34 PM

I am still slogging my way through Bioshock; takin gmy time. i am currently bulking up on cash in Olympus Heights. I have discovered a fun little investment sub-game.

Load up with Trap Bolts and Steel-tipped bolts. it helps if you have Incinerate 3. Run up the central walkway where you find sander cohen's apartment, setting up trap bolts, 1 per wall the whole way up.

Wait until there is a big daddy (elite rosies on this level), then blast him with the incinerate, which pisses him off (btw, make sure you are on the top level for this).

He will run into the traps the whole way up, that will take him way the hell down or kill him, and if he is still alivem shoot him in the head with a steel tipped bolt or two. Big Daddies carry a lot of cash, and carry lots of spare parts to use in U-Invent,

I've had my eye on this one for a while. It looks like a blast, but I wanted to hear feedback from someone who actually has played it before picking it up. I'll have to check out some reviews too.

GOD I love that game. I should play it through again. My favorite for the 360 so far.

As for me, I'm finishing up Prey for the Xbox 360 and it's an absolute BLAST.

AMAZING graphics, great UI, and a truly dark atmosphere. My only problem is that I wish it was a bit more of a challenge (it's slightly a bit too linear for me; wish it was more like Doom or Metroid with interactive maps), BUT that being said, I definitely recommend Prey. Fantastic FPS with mind-blowing graphics.

Well I have been playing "Too Human" Silicon Knight's (of Legacy of Kain and Eternal Darkness fame) Sci-Fi take on Norse Mythology. For all the bad press it's gotten I've actually found it beautifully designed and extrememly rewarding to play. Killing hundreds of cyber Goblins and Trolls and Dark Elves and then casually walking away with barely a scratch... yeah I enjoy that.

Which game system is it on?

Phalanx 10-13-2008 06:57 AM

COD2: Big Red One on ps2, another game I exchanged with my brother.

I remember playing #1 on pc and it seemed to have a much better fell to it than this one...I don't even know if it's anything more than some kind of spin-off of the series. #3 when I played it for a short time seemed to be back on track.

Anyone else played this? Similar take?

Too Human is on the 360, I would be hestitant to recomend it though. Thogu I love it, it's got some pretty serious problems. It's pretty punishing and unofrtunately its not always easy to make the protagnist Baldur DO exactly what you want him too. If I could be mind linked to him through some nifty sci-fi contraption that'd work. The storytelling is also very rough, rigid and rushed and while there is definetly evidence of some real skill in how they have applied the Norse mythology to their retelling it's not always protrayed very effectively.

I can genuinely say it's not for everyone, I get a kick out of it but I can see how many people hate it's shiny little guts.

Vodstok 10-15-2008 09:31 AM

Just finished Bioshock, and I am entertaining thoughts of slogging through FEAR to get screenshots for my website.

I can get video too, so I may grab some of that for some of the more intense moments, to share :)

Freak 10-15-2008 04:18 PM

Playing through Silent Hill:Homecoming right now and it's very good. The huge fans of the series might be let down but so far I've enjoyed it very much.

Chrono this would be right up your alley for survival horror.
