Dracula

metternich1815 05-20-2014 07:10 AM

Tough call, I'll give it to Bela Lugosi version of Dracula. Lugosi played an excellent role as Dracula and that film is one of my favorites of the period. Some have argued it was slow and is dated, I could not disagree more. Nosferatu (Count Orlok) is certainly a good portrayal. His Dracula (renamed due to copyright issues) was quite sinister and I loved the makeup.

metternich1815 05-22-2014 07:42 PM

I'll go with Frankenstein's monster(Frankenstein).

Sculpt 05-22-2014 09:44 PM

I enthusiastically vote Xenomorph, the creature from Alien. A truly fascinating creature design from the late great Swiss surrealist artist H. R. Giger. The long extended head, and a 2nd inner protruding mouths. Not to mention the whole alien concept of the egg, attaching to the face to hibernate in the ab and bust out. I always saw that as an allusion to evil.
