Doubt I'll be as fortunate as the 28 year old guy novakru is off out with, but on the plus side that does mean I'll probably be around for the grand unveiling. I might even wear a red carnation so I'm easily recognised.:)

Also, wish I'd have beaten neverending to the punch on #83 that was a sweet trade in....

I don't know... it seems to me requiring the participation of people who rarely logon is one thing that bogged down the last game...

Think I have to agree. And you can't necessarily expect people to participate when they haven't made the decision to sign up themselves.

The contestants in Group A who are under the elimination radar have been marked as under "Danger Zone!". Now, the decision to eliminate 2 participants out of the 5 in the Danger Zone has to be taken by ALL (or maximum) of the contestants of all Groups - A, B and C.

PM me or email me at [email protected] your choice of TWO participants of Group A, who you would like to nominate to be eliminated. You have 48 hours to make your decision. At the end of 48 hours, I will announce the votes and the names of the eliminated participants of Group A. (don't worry, I wont announce the names of the voters ;))

Just to show which MASTERS OF CINEMA are in the teams of all the Group A contestants in the Danger Zone -

Good luck in choosing, contestants!

Expect a major announcement at the end of the next 48 hours.

roshiq 03-01-2010 12:14 AM

Though it's tough to make a choice like that but I think it'll be better for rest of us if contestant with better among best directors get eliminated...(Oh! I need an evil face emotion sign here!)

13 PMs in so far. 12 hours to go.

_____V_____ 03-02-2010 10:58 AM

Let's see who got the noms from the crowd...

In 5TH PLACE, was MISSMACABRE, with 3 VOTES IN FAVOR OF ELIMINATION!!

In 4TH PLACE, was DESPARE, with 4 VOTES IN FAVOR OF ELIMINATION!

That leaves Illdojo, Psycho d and The Mothman...

In 3RD PLACE...

was...

THE MOTHMAN!

WITH 5 VOTES IN FAVOR OF ELIMINATION!!

Which means...

BOTH PSYCHO D AND ILLDOJO HAVE BEEN NOMINATED TO BE ELIMINATED FROM GROUP A FOR SHOWDOWN II!

Sorry guys, the masses have spoken and shown you the door. Good game.

And now for, the announcement...

_____V_____ 03-02-2010 11:11 AM

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SHOWDOWN II

As you saw, Illdojo and Psycho d were chosen to be eliminated from Group A. Which makes the SIX Masters of Cinema they had in their team, FREE FOR SELECTION AGAIN!

The catch is, they join a list of 35 OTHER MASTERS OF CINEMA for a trade-in for all you fine folks!

Since Group A have finished their first round, they get the first shot.

Group A listers - send me a PM of your choice of ONE number from the following list, which you would like to trade-in for one of your original choices which you think has performed poorly/below expectations in Round 1...

List - 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141.

For e.g., Cheebacheeba sends me a PM saying - "I am trading my #16 for #131."

You may also PROCEED TO CHOOSE ANY THREE (MAXIMUM) OTHER FILMS FOR YOUR REMAINING TWO MASTERS OF CINEMA. That is, if you feel your original choices didnt do very well in Round 1.

You have till the end of Round 1 for Group B as your choosing time.

Good luck! Better hurry!

ferretchucker 03-02-2010 01:32 PM
