The Green Slime gets my vote

for nostalgic reasons

You need to revisit it again if you got the flick. Its an absolute hoot!

5-4-1, The Green Slime fends off Island of Terror and scores the close win.

as I get older I find myself watching older movies and TV shows. Maybe it's a way to "revisit" my youth.

How could you FORGET seeing The Green Slime in the theatre??? I still remember it! Or maybe it's because they were giving away free copies of the theme song on 45s in the lobby. Greeen Sliiimmme.....

neverending 10-09-2009 09:39 PM

Night Creatures. Cushing wins my vote.

Despare 10-10-2009 12:21 AM

actually I think it was at the drive-in. Had some fond memories of the drive-in as a tyke. At least the ones my beer-soaked brain let me remember :D

roshiq 10-10-2009 07:30 AM

I also vote Captain Clegg.

_____V_____ 10-10-2009 10:54 AM

Night Creatures aka Captain Clegg leads with 4, while Mr. Sardonicus and A Study In Terror have got blobs so far.

More votes needed...

King Kong vs Godzilla

sure....an inferior movie....but a lot of fun.

The_Return 10-10-2009 02:55 PM

Witchfinder General!

One of Price's most chilling performances...love it.

The_Return 10-11-2009 08:24 AM

Pains me to vote against Price, but I've never actually seen Twice Told Tales (:o)....and Kwaidan is a masterpiece...

Kwaidan gets my vote, for now.

_____V_____ 10-11-2009 09:02 AM

Kwaidan - 3
Twice Told Tales - 2
The Sorcerers - 0

More votes needed to decide this one...

Kwaidan
...

Doc Faustus 10-11-2009 10:03 AM

I'm going to go with Twice Told Tales. Very underappreciated. Kwaidan is indeed a work of art, but I think it's kind of uneven and Twice Told Tales is solid throughout.

Horror4ever 10-11-2009 11:26 AM

Twice Told Tales

_____V_____ 10-11-2009 12:07 PM

Kwaidan - 4
Twice Told Tales - 4
The Sorcerers - 0

The very next voter might decide the winner of this cliffhanger...

Kwaidan..........................

_____V_____ 10-11-2009 08:55 PM

5-4-0, Kwaidan pulls off a very close win over Twice Told Tales.

Three excellent movies. I'd be voting for 2,000 Maniacs if it weren't for NIGHT OF THE BLOODY APES!

I love this movie- it's just insane- actual open heart surgery footage, topless female victims, masked Mexican wrestlers, close-up eye gouging, a monster that's a guy in a gorilla mask (just the mask)... one of the best worst movies ever.

However its dissapointing that the female wrestler never fights the ape....It is however still a great film..(I also love Doctor of Doom)
