At the end of Round 4, the score-board looks like this :

Neverending - 8

fortunato - 5

Angrymob - 12

Newb - 10

Disease - 2

Angrymob is leading the pack, but has Newb and Neverending not far behind him. Can anybody challenge him and wrench the lead? We will see when Round 5 unfolds very soon next week.

Goodnight folks!!

newb 03-23-2008 05:37 AM

couldn't make it last night......nice going angrymob.

I thought more people would get into this:confused:

Disease 03-23-2008 05:55 AM

just the two of us competing last night and mainly asian horror questions which I don't watch a lot of.... add to that a couple I knew were up before I logged in to the page.

I'm looking forward to the next round.

Thanks Newb.We missed ya.
I am surprised at the low turnout as well.Just Disease and I last night. The Truth is that I just kept throwing uneducated guesses out till something stuck.
Disease is a worthy opponent and made it competitive so..I'll take the points!
Hope you and others can be there for the next round.

GorePhobia 03-23-2008 10:39 AM

Yeah I missed it again. Go figure. I was at my brother's friends house in a 10 person Texas Hold Em' tournament with a 10 dollar buy in. Winner won 100 bucks and I won so it was worth missing the game. lol

Despare 03-24-2008 03:31 PM

You can expect the next round at 11:05 PM EST Thursday night. This round will still consist of three phases each containing four questions BUT each phase will contain questions based on a different topic. We will have horror videogame, music, and literature questions. Nobody has a lead that would prevent them from being dethroned by a newcomer but the longer people wait to get involved the harder the climb will be. Also remember that there will be two rounds coming up with prizes awarded simply for winning the round...

neverending 03-24-2008 06:32 PM

I should be able to make this one

wufongtan. 03-26-2008 01:50 AM

this game sounds dangerous.

Despare 03-28-2008 07:06 PM

Alright folks, next round will be Sunday morning at noon and this round will be trivia about family movies. Remember, this round is a prize bearing round which means whoever gets the most points in this round not only gets those points added to their total but wins a copy of The Princess Bride. See you Sunday!

_____V_____ 03-28-2008 07:09 PM

Hell Yea!

You get the points PLUS win a DVD of The Princess Bride!!

Catch you on Sunday at noon folks!

neverending 03-28-2008 07:32 PM

We have new people on the board folks, and remember, there are still AT LEAST 60 points available not counting bonus points which may pop up without warning ;) . Here's what the scores look like...

Neverending - 18

fortunato - 8.5

Angrymob - 12

Newb - 12

Disease - 2

Gorephobia - 3

Cactus - 4

Jenna26 - 1

Congratulations to Cactus who won the prize round with 4 points taking 1/3 of the available points and winning a copy of The Princess Bride. Congrats Cactus! Remember there's still a Monty Python round coming up and without notice any round could contain a bonus prize!

Despare 03-30-2008 10:03 AM

The next round will take place on Wed. night at 11 PM EST.

Also, if anybody wants to PM me with suggestions for times or even post them here, since the Python round will have three prizes awarded to the winner I would like the best turnout possible. So let me know, when's a good time for you folks?

neverending 03-30-2008 07:27 PM

Any time Wed is great for me. I'll be present and providing musical accompaniment and commentary.

neverending 04-02-2008 09:39 AM

I'll be there!

ferretchucker 04-02-2008 12:05 PM

I'll try my best. I think that'll be my 5:00am. So don't wait up.

Rayne 04-02-2008 12:20 PM

Dustin wants in for Monty Python, but he has no previous points. Will this make it impossible for him to win? Also, he has no idea how to play (He saw V's 'commercial') :D

He can catch up pretty easily...depending on who shows up.

Its as simple as answering the questions FIRST

neverending 04-02-2008 12:36 PM

Just show up here at 11 PM EST - the trivia contest takes place in real time. first answer for each question wins. The Python dvds will be given for poinyts won in this round only, I believe.

newb 04-02-2008 12:43 PM

And be sure you tune in to http://www.neverendingwonder.com/

The Ponderously Pontificating Uncle Ozma supplies great music and commentary

i always pop in and out all day - but i'd never make it to 11:00 at night.

i get up at 5:30 AM each morning.. my eyes are closing around 7:30 in the middle of the 'after dinner movie' half the time these days.

newb 04-02-2008 01:13 PM

I don't get up until 7

I usually go to bed at midnight.

Tonights is Horror Movie Trivia but yes, when the Python round begins whoever wins that round gets the three Python movies. Like Cactus, he won the family trivia round which gave him some points AND a copy of The Princess Bride... which will be in the mail Cactus. :)

Aww, don't feel bad. It happens to the younger guys, too.

I put in a movie last night, and Dustin (he's only 23) was snoring in about 10 minutes.

Well, it was Night Of The Dead, Asylum's version of Re-Animator...It had a few good gore shots, but mostly it was a pretty bad movie...and that says a LOT coming from ME...So, I couldn't really blame him for falling asleep.

Disease 04-02-2008 05:13 PM

Sucks I probably will be asleep by the time it starts, what is it 2 hours away or more?
