Yeah, but the good news is this set's only gonna be $20, and you can get Red Dragon dirt cheap.

I got my copy for $4, brand new.

Still, you're right, it makes the collection look a little tackier.

Really? It's discussed all the time on this site.

It's Micheal Mann's version of Thomas Harris' novel Red Dragon that came out well before Silence of the Lambs. It is sleek and stylish and kind of cold, but very, very good. Brian Cox plays Lechter brilliantly. Waaaaay better than the film Red Dragon.

Check it out

Count Dracula (BBC, 1977) - September

I have been waiting so long for this one - it was released briefly in region 2 some years ago on VHS and DVD, but I missed that one. Haven't seen it since it's TV showing in the late 70's or early 80's.

http://www.amazon.com/Count-Dracula-...2660326&sr=8-1

As if that wasn't enough, Tales from the Crypt and Vault of Horror are being released in September as a double feature. Love Vault of Horror, and have been wanting to see Tales from the Crypt forever.

I don't think I can buy yet another Universal Monster release... I'll just watch the versions I have at look at the pretty busts that came with three of them. Good list BTW, just saw that Host was coming and can't wait for that release.

I cannot wait for some of these to hit the shops here.
Looking forward to the Monster Squad, The Host, The Tales box-set, and a few other goodies.

The Weinstein Company and Genius Products announced today that the two films that made up the classically under-rated Grindhouse release will hit DVD on two separate, extended and unrated DVDs. (BLAH!  )

Quentin Tarantino's serial-killer homage to the old school car chase film, Death Proof will hit shelves with over 30 minutes of additional, never-before-seen footage including the maddening "missing reel" (containing the excised lapdance sequence) as well as a black and white segment in the film's second act.

The DVD will hit on September 18, 2007 for a price of $29.95.

Features will include:

-Finding Quentin's Gals
-The Guys of Death Proof
-Kurt Russell as Stuntman Mike
-Introducing Zoe Bell
-Quentin's Greatest Collaborator: Editor Sally Menke
-Double Dare trailer
-International Poster Gallery

Meanwhile, the Robert Rodriguez zombie entry, Planet Terror, will attack with more footage, deleted scenes, a full commentary and the infamous missing reel.

That disc will drop on October 16, 2007 for a price of $29.95.

Features will include:

-Audio Commentary with Writer/Director Robert Rodriguez
-International trailer
-Deleted Scenes
-Cooking School
-10-Minute Film School
-The Stunts
-The Make-up and Effects
-The Badass Babes
-The Renegade Guys
-The Costumes
-The Production Design

They are hell-bent on ripping off the die-hard Grindhouse fan...and not even releasing on the same date!!!:(

Grrr I m so mad!!
