Sinister. Stryfe was a passing phase, sinister is eternal.

_____V_____ 01-10-2007 09:38 PM

Mr. Sinister.

One badass mofo to ever light up the pages of the X-Men series.

Miss Olivia 01-11-2007 10:35 AM

Mister Sinister.

Phalanx 01-14-2007 03:08 AM

So...lets assume sinister won...this thing continuing?

If not, I'll drive it home. Stryfe is a dillhole. Sinister all the way.

Haunted 01-14-2007 07:02 AM

Vod might be busy, or his ego might have been squished due to his latest but not greatest idea. (Vod, we love you, and forgive you. I've done dumber.)

Now, since Mr. Sinister clearly won hands down...

Check this shit out:

Which of these summ'bitches is more vile?

Or???

http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...undercats2.jpg

bloodrayne 01-14-2007 07:14 AM

Mumm-Ra is WAY cooler than Skeletor :p

Despare 01-14-2007 08:43 AM

No way, Skeletor all the way. He fought off He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Phalanx 01-14-2007 08:47 AM

That's a good one...
As cool as mum-rah was with his transformation thing...skeletor never needed any incantations to get "more powerful", was at various times in charge of much more formidable minions, and a much better manipulator...not to mention part of (I think) a much more memorable cartoon series.
M.O.T.U was one of the greats...thundercats was cool, but never quite went that distance.

Skeletor for me too.

Roderick Usher 01-14-2007 08:49 AM

Skeletor!!!!

_____V_____ 01-14-2007 08:54 AM

Mum-Rah was ok, but nothing when compared to Skeletor.

Skeletor.

Haunted 01-15-2007 09:51 AM

In light of the new as...id...jac...person, this thread, as are other good threads, is getting buried. So, instead of just bumping it, we're moving on, until Vod comes back and does his thing.

These next two fellows are opposites: One is a Japanese character (anime), but everybody knows 'im. The other is a character from Japan, and those who don't know him have been buried under a rock. One's an evil master mind with a horde of idiots. The other may actually be a fuck up himself (theories are still out) with a hord o' ninjas.

I bring you:

Dr. Claw

http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...999/drclaw.jpg

v.

Shredder

http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...9/shredder.jpg

Despare 01-15-2007 10:13 AM

Shredder
Even though he answered to Krang he was a bad ass.

the_real_linda 01-15-2007 10:37 AM

shredder wasnt cool to me wen i was a kid but i like shredder now but always will be skelator

Phalanx 01-15-2007 04:11 PM

Shredder.
Krang was just a stupid creation for the cartoon, as were rocksteady and beebop and that technoball thing...the "real" Shredder was much more vicious in the comics, and answered to no-one. The version of him in the first movie was a little more like the original shredder, not quite as badass, but a little more alike. But yeah, overall...villains don't come much more hardcore.

The_Return 01-15-2007 04:57 PM

Dr. Claw!

Shredder was cool, but man...Claw just kicks ass. Rupert Everett murdered him, but he was damn cool in the cartoon.

_____V_____ 01-15-2007 08:05 PM

Dr.Claw.

Can kick Shredder's wussy ass anytime, anywhere...

Miss Olivia 01-15-2007 09:38 PM

Shredder.
I had a cat named Shredder once.

Phalanx 01-15-2007 09:58 PM

A: Shredder - Martial arts expert, killer moves. Take no shit, creatures over twice his physical mass under his command,...More than once kicked the shit out of the "main" characters of the show, movies and comics, and on more than one occasion, collectively. KickASS armour. Doesn't always win in the end, but comes back each time with a different and diabolical plan. He's had his enemies friends beaten (and in comics) murdered and raped, he pulls no punches.

B: Dr Claw - Cool voice, but other than that a hand that slaps a cat around a lot, and not much else. Clearly has a lot of resources available to him, but has he ever "beaten" damn near the biggest dolt in existence? No.
Frequently has his "plans" usurped by little girls and dogs. Regardless of all the tech and resources at his command, fails time and again...and continues to hire the same two morons to work on his behalf, even though all they ever do is fuck up. Then cries like a bitch every damn time he has his ass somehow handed to him or his plans smashed "Next time...I'll get yooooou!"

Does this not put things in perspective?

bwind22 01-15-2007 09:59 PM

Shredder.

Dr. Claw's plans always got foiled by the world's doofiest inspector, his little niece & her dog. At least it took 4 mutated ninja turtles to stop Shredder week in and week out.

Phalanx 01-15-2007 10:00 PM

My point exactly.

Disease 01-16-2007 12:06 AM

The shredder, he proved to be a super villan after the first movie when he came back from haveing his helmet crushed by a garbage truck, don't forget he survived a rat scratch once aswell.

THANK YOU! :)

We all got nice a sick last week, thats why i disappeared. I will take this back over if haunted is willing to give it up :)

Haunted 01-16-2007 08:40 AM

It's all yours, Vod. I sort of dropped the ball on that last one. I never thought Shredder was that cool, but for vileness, yes. Dr. Claw was pretty vile too. He was always trying to kill Penny who was what? Eleven? However, I see the points people are making. Plus, they aren't really in the same class as villains go.

...Hey...maybe we could team up, Vod. As I mentioned before, villains are my thing. However, it's up to you. There are a lot of really creative avenues that we could take with this...

Woprks for me, feel free to take over whenever you want :)

Takes off some pressure for me.

Disease 01-16-2007 09:30 AM

so is there a new match?

Vodstok 01-16-2007 09:35 AM

Well, shredder clearly won this round (i would have voted for him also), so i guess we do need a new one....

how about Demon vs Demon?

http://www.dvd-direct.de/specials/de...t/jeryline.jpg

Billy Zane as The Collector from Demon Knight

Vs.

Pazuzu from the Excorcist

GorePhobia 01-16-2007 10:03 AM

Billy Zane as The Collector from Demon Knight

just because Billy Zane is awesome.

Haunted 01-16-2007 11:38 AM

Although the Exorcist was a trillion times cooler than Demon Night, I've gotta go with Billy Zane, because I think that The Exorcist was a slight against Puzuzu, seeing as how he isn't technically a demon. I'll leave it at that.

Let me guess, ancient spirit demonized by the christians?

ShankS 01-16-2007 12:05 PM

I'll give the vomit a point.... Pazuzu.

Disease 01-16-2007 12:18 PM

"Billy Zane titty" an old friend of mine used to scream that out whenever Billy Zane was mentioned so I have to go with The Collector.

Summerian and Babylonian major Air Spirit/Elemental, could cause and prevent plagues and famines. Protector of women in childbirth. Very agricultural dude. He looks creepy, as does Bathomet:
http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...9/Baphomet.png

However...
He's actually related to the Hellenic God, Mendes, and in the Medieveal Occult traditions (Levi's in particular... and later Crowley) he's related to the Hermetic spin on the Tree of Life/Qabala. He's actually a Spirit of "Mercy" and "Justice."

Okay, so The Exorcist was really just a movie. Maybe Puzuzu didn't mind being a villain.

Damnit, Vod:D I wasn't going to go into this, as it irritates people.

Despare 01-16-2007 03:10 PM

Pazuzu

Demon or not he made that girl uuuuuuuuuuuugly.

_____V_____ 01-16-2007 09:05 PM

Pazuzu. For Blatty & Friedkin's masterpiece.

And also for the "fuck me!" scene.

Vodstok 01-17-2007 05:11 AM

2 - 4 in favor of linda blair. sorta.

Oh, and Haunted. Screw the masses, i was curious and i find ancient religions interesting.

Never! Sure the movies get it wrong, they always do. And that provides an opening for you to come correct. I love getting every angle.

and that said Pazuzu is still a waaaaaaay better villian from a waaaaaaaay better movie.

Haunted 01-17-2007 12:08 PM

:) Thanks, Rod.

That being said, Pazuzu, in his first film debut takes the award 5 to 2.

Let move to two completely different villains in a completely different category. Vod and I talked, and we're going with some mythological characters here. Also, I'm going to bring in some women into this action.

From ancient Hellas, this once lovely lady was caught smooching up with Aphrodite's love interest in Aphrodite's temple. Not cool. So, Aphrodite cursed this woman to a life of hideousness, with snakes for hair. In fact, this woman was so hideous, one look would turn a man into stone.

I give you the Gorgon, Medusa:

http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...999/Medusa.jpg

In Hebraic mythos this lady was the first wife of Adam. However, she didn't like being subordinate to a man. So she high tailed it out of Eden. According to myth, she became a terrible succubus. She would drift into the dreams of men and steal their lives over a period of several nights. She was said to suck the life out of newborn children. She is also said to be the Hebraic version of a vampire.

Fighting for the right destroy men is Lilith:

http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...ilithstele.jpg

These two ladies have three things in common: They've both been cursed by a deity, and NeoPagan women seem to adore them. That is possibly due to the third trait; their favored victims are men.

Vodstok 01-17-2007 12:41 PM

Very Nice :)

I will have to go with Medusa, for many reasons, but foremost is HArryhausen didnt make a Lilith as far as I know. Plus, frasier didnt marry medusa :p

Roderick Usher 01-17-2007 01:49 PM

Lillith all then way

and I'm loving the mythological turn this tourney has taken
