So, how does it work from here?

How do the 6 of us discuss which movies should be on the list without it being public? PM's are way to clunky to try to keep organized between 6 people, IMO.

now - the judges should get together and see if we can all get on the same page as to what we consider a 'jem' and 'unknown'

i know for a fact that there will be unknown turds, well known jems, as well as the criteria we're actually looking for in the list ..

personally - one of the main qualifiers for an unknown jem is : it should be a suprise that it is unknown.

if it is pretty damn obvious why the movie is unheard of - it can hardly be considered a jem..

i should have vote on myself...

I remember posting alot a year ago and everyone always waited around for me to update matches and stuff and wait to chat with me, now everyone is distant, and no newer cats know me like people did when I first started posting 3 years ago. To update your tournies! They're the best, I come here constantly just to vote, personally I think they're a lot of fun and there's really not much on a forum to look forward to. Sure there's conversation but that will always be there with different variations of different topics constantly recycling themselves but a tourny with annual additions really makes you anticipate the end. All I need is a refresher of the past years (all years) winners because... well... sometimes I'm too lazy to search heh.

Back on topic:

I think we have a great set of judges, a great assortment of films to choose from, and I have faith that this list is going to kick some major ass.
