I been fond of Pinhead since I was a kid.

But Hellraiser never scared me. I always wanted to marry him. Dang I was a sick kid lol...:D

thank you very much ....!! i completely agree.................this will be above some peoples head that has mentioned about him ......

bellamorte 11-10-2003 07:52 PM

lol... Thanks... But my affection for pinhead is merely that fact he is beautiful. One of the few demon characters I can say I crossed on. lol

roguesblight 11-12-2003 11:15 AM

Finally, a like soul! I have always thought pinhead was pretty intriguing! I kinda always rooted for him. As demons go, i'd say he was pretty hypnotizing! All you lamos out there that think he's lame, well, let's just say I agree with ritualistic, you need to watch more horror because you obviously can't tell the difference between great and everyday! pinhead is a great character and Freddy, Jason, and the rest are just everyday kinda slashers. Most of those characters could be replaced with one of the others. But not pinhead!!!!

massacre man 11-12-2003 12:06 PM

michael myers cannot be replaced hes the TRUE boogeyman the original the perfect horror character

true he cant be replaced BUT he he still just a slasher character that does not compare to Pinhead or the rest of the cenobites... they are all different horror characters...

MICHAEL MYERS IS FAR BETTER THAN PINHEAD GET OVER THAT ONE.

bellamorte 11-13-2003 12:54 AM

I think Pinhead is more lasting then Mike Myers. Mike Myers is a walking corpse who happens to come back every Halloween to scare the same person because he needs to kill off his family or something of that nature. That is cool and all but Pinhead is my bestfriend. :D

AUSTIN316426808 11-13-2003 02:12 AM

OK SOMEBODY SAID THEY WANTED TO MARRY THE ''BEAUTIFUL'' PINHEAD AND NOW THIS POOR CHILD WANTS TO BE HIS BEST FRIEND.
I LOVE HALLOWEEN-THE MOVIE I DON'T LOVE MICHAEL MYERS THE MASS MURDERING,SERIAL KILLER COOL CHARACTER NO DOUBT BUT AS FAR AS BEING IN LOVE WITH HIM IS CONCERNED I'LL PASS.

AUSTIN316426808 11-13-2003 03:07 AM

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HORROR BUT DOES ANYBODY LIKE THE MATRIX? CAUSE I THINK RESOLUTIONS IS THE MOVIE OF THE YEAR THAT'S JUST MY OPINION.

Killer Clown#1 11-13-2003 04:03 AM

The matrix series is awsome, but I was dissipointed with reloaded. you might wan't to find the matrix revolutions thread before we start a conversation.

I think that is the coolest comeback! You tell em!

crazy clown 11-15-2003 07:13 AM

i'm not a pinhead fan but i know that he has an important role in the genre.

roguesblight 11-15-2003 08:14 AM

THANK YOU! See, ya don't have to be a fan of his to understand that pinhead is horror. As a matter of fact, you can even hate him as long as ya get that others do think he's great, and get over the fact that not everyone agrees with everyone else! The world would be boring if everyone liked exactly the same things, cause more than likely it would be boring things that would be popular!

My Top Ten

An American Werewolf in London

Night of the Living Dead (Tom Savini remake) although the first was very very good. This just seems more of the times. I am sure that if I saw the orginal back in the day it would be one of my top ten. Also the Day of the Dead and Dawn of the dead added to this catergorey.

All Evil Dead

28 Days Later

The Thing

Event Horzon

Fright Night

The Fog

Phantasm II

In the Mouth of Madness

Not in order!

I love mostly 80's horror flicks. For me most of today horror movies can't stand upto most of the 80's stuff. For instance House of 1,000 corpses. I like Rob Zombie but that movie was just horrible. Was almost like a different version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I bought it on DVD and was very disappointed. Well just my $.02 though.

I do agree about the 80`s movies being better than 90`s BUT 70`s beat the hell out of 80`s flick...

but shit house is a great movie, that has been made recently... I mean to me it does have some TCM similarities.. But I saw your list and 28 days later have the dawn of the dead tone...

LOL

I never realized that until I read your post.

That major difference with that though is the intense rage that zombie have. Thats what really makes this movie so scary. I would sh*t myself if there was one running after me.

With Dawn of Dead the zombies move so slow not really that terrorizing. But they are in packs either way still deadly.

By the way what does IMO mean

eg. IMO this is true to an extent

*Braindead (or most likely "alive dead") by p.j.
*Event Horizon (kinda sci-fi horror aint it?)
*Mister Vampire (asian film), haven't see the sequels, of which there's apparently 3, but the first one was THE funniest horror-comedy I've EVER seen, with some of the best stunt and fight coreography that's ever been done.
