The cut that goes the deepest is IA75's sad attempt to minimize the monumental importance of my place as FOURTH FROM THE BOTTOM . I can understand the kind of pressure he's under - I'm sure since this list was publicized just yesterday that he has been flooded with PMs, phone calls, telegrams, messengers - all carrying that same pleading message - "why not me, why wasn't I FOURTH FROM THE BOTTOM " - I can just imagine the kinds of emotional blackmail people have been pushing onto our poor beleagured IA75:

exactly. I've met people on-line before and I always say it's no different than meeting a person anywhere else really. I mean, c'mon, how long have people been doing this now? You can meet a phycho on-line just as easy as you can at shop n save, or anywhere else. But yes, it is best to meet in a public place with someone else there. I wouldn't meet anyone alone unless I've been talking to them for a VERY long time, and also talked to someone else they knew to back up their background/life.

Iowa's a blast, you wouldn't think so but I went down to visit somebody at Iowa state a few years back and that little college town is almost as cool as Ann Arbor!

VC, you asked on like the first page why I wouldnt meet anyone from the internet. One simple reason: Age. If I was 18+, no living with my parents, and had a good deal of disposible income, Id gladly meet any of you. Those around my age would be best, but it would be really cool to meet any of you in person to watch a movie or something.
