The Quetzal

I have huge families of lorikeets (or rainbow lorikeets as they're called here) right near my place...alot of trees where I live.
They're nice and relatively tame, you can hand feed them.
I like them, but due to overexposure, I'd prefer to SEE the Quetzal.

ItsAlive75 02-21-2005 06:44 PM

Quetzal, I think the full name is somethin' like Quetzalacocus or something crazy like that...

I dunno.

filmmaker2 02-21-2005 07:48 PM

Sallymander says.......Quetzal!

Marroe 02-21-2005 08:41 PM

The Quetzal looks much cooler.

AmarylandPsycho 02-21-2005 08:55 PM

Vodstok 02-22-2005 05:13 AM

Looks like in the end, the quetzal got the most votes first.

Now, which is better?

You know, contrary to popular belief, alligators and crocodiles are not really meat eaters. They are vegetarians, really, and are generally friendly, like domesticated cats. Next time you see one, try going over to it and petting it, you will be surprised how friendly they are. Or better still, the next time you see one, throw rocks at it--they love that!

I think it does. I wil allow absentee votes.

The ant wins! Ants are more highly evolved wasps anyway. so there.
