Not a problem. I love watching American politics and it was interesting to see someone in a moderating position would handle the backlash of the people he suppposedly governs when making the most grievous violations himself. Apparently deleting the threads where people asked about it was the easiest. You handled it quite well under the circumstances I must say. Again, it's good to know you have returned. I like the NOHypocrites moniker you've chose. It seems fitting now.

Yeah, it seems like something from the X-Files. Everyone who knows too much disappears when the truth is out there LOL Screw it. I didn't do anything to be called in there in the first place except exercise some poor judgement. I said it right out and that should've been the end of it. Being called an "f***ing liar" and such wasn't much of an argument in the first place. Once you get into slandering, your argument is lost. Besides, I know the rules and if I mouthed off a single "f*** you" back, I knew I could be banned for that. Yeah, I guess the new name is pretty good for now. But I still would rather have my DVP name back. Oh well. Not exactly keeping it a secret. Take it easy Then/One. I gotta get some work done. Fight the good fight.

That is very true. Slander is the first sign of an argument lost. Too bad the lady involved didn't caution him about antagonizing you in the first place. I believe he should have let the matter drop when you first told him you did not participate in the melee. Everyone who read that clearly saw you had not posted anything. I guess some people never learn.

Interesting that you should talk about knowing nothing, Andy, since you obviously weren't here for the fireworks the other night when your sister's "righteous" boyfriend showed up cursing at everyone(including me for something I was not involved in in the first place). He started the argument, lost badly, banned a bunch of people and threads disappeared. That sounds pretty Nazi-ish to me IMHO. Enough people here know the truth of the matter so the need for "insinuations, half truths and outright lies" is a matter of your opinion. I saved a few of the following days posts if you'd care to read them saying it was uncalled for. If you feel "passive-aggressive bs" is more defamatory then showing up screaming "f***ing liar", "c*******er", etc on a thread, I'd say you were sadly mistaken. This wasn't just flaming. It happened. It's over with. I don't suppose Arioch will delete this either or he already would've done so. Maybe it's a reminder like a Holocaust Museum.
I do agree the "cheers" thing is annoying after talking to Then/One the other night though. Other than that, he seems to be a on top of things a lot more than you've given him credit for.
