Childs play was the best one, especially when he comes alive in the mom's hands and swears at her, and in the toystore when he says the chant, that movie kicks ass

The 1st WAS closest to being SCARY, and at the time, was pretty original I suppose, don't take it too seriously and you'll enjoy it.
Best in the series, most tense.

The 2nd one was also quite alright, some interesting deaths....not quite up there with the first, but only just missed the mark.

The 3rd one, hmmm....had a few funny lines, and a pretty devious switcheroo type situation, but I didn't really like it.

Bride of Chucky was "ok"...Chuck still kills, but isn't really as raw as he was in the first few. I remember hearing Ronny Yu (F vs J) did this one.
Pretty fucked up death scene, lots of splatter, but a much lighter "feel" than the rest of them.
Chucky has a pretty funny few last words in this one, but nothing will ever beat the last words in the first one on sheer creep.

i think the kid is supposed to be a boy, and the jist of the story from what i had read is chucky's kid goes in search of Jennifer Tilly for some reason, don't quote me on that, the plot sounds silly, but i bet it's still gonna be a good film.
