IDrinkYourBlood 08-29-2004 05:20 AM

ya rotton is a n00b but give him some credit. he could be doing something much worse like playing football or hanging out with preppy chicks. but no he's here trying to brake into the underworld of which is horror and i tip my hat off to him.

dont believe the bullshit fetus, this movie was based on real events in Texas with this deranged family who killed and ate people, Leatherface was in the news actually a couple months ago

believe it or not.. agree or not.. i actually thought house of 1,000 corpses was a good attempt to bring back the old style... it didn't include one single bit of CG... wrong turn wasn't that bad actually... even though it had some small CG in it... also... 28 days later was a bit on the older style side...

thEsounDofdirT 08-29-2004 07:48 AM

oats... it was not based on events in texas... it wasn't even about a deranged family ... it was inspired by ed gein from Wisconsin... the house in tcm was similar to his house in that he made furniture from humans ... he didn't murder people with chainsaws.. he even shot a few of his victims then gutted them and dismembered their bodies... :)

Click to read all about it!

cheers

I have no desire to get into a big flame war, but not all slashers are crap like you claim them to be. Sure there are alot of them like that but not all. I personally love slasher movies and trust me I am not a fucking prep or jock or [insert other label here].

I love Slashers! and everyone here is right, it's horrible that Hollywood has gotten to the point, where they have run out of original ideas and just started making remake after remake, and butchering the originals.

I would have to say, that SAW is probably one of the more original looking films, I've been looking forward to seeing. It's not your typical 'slasher' film (teens having sex and then getting hacked up). I mean, name another slasher, where the killer uses other people as his means of dispatching his/her victims.
