What is that octopus lookin' thing glopped between the tomato and the beans??

wow i should start coming on in the morning, everybody is so up beat, and warm in the morning

I think its the mushrooms

Maybe its....octopus. Looking at that breakfast clarifies another misconception I had. I thought a typical UK breakfast would be biscuits and tea.

Mornings are usually pretty good here. Nobody is pissed off from having a bad day yet,

Well, as far as differences between the US and the UK goes with that plate of food ... I don't think any of us would order a side of mushrooms. We put them on our pizza, and in soups and stuff ... but not straight out of a pile like that. Also, we don't grill our tomoatoes. And that piece of meat on the side looks a little undercooked ... unless it's ham. In that case - yum!
