Avi has taken these dramatic actions because of a personal disagreement between he and I. I'm not going to go into details, neither here nor in private messages.

IMO the extreme reaction is unwarrented. I'm hoping he'll lurk around here and see all this concern and come back. You shouldn't punish everyone because of a disagreement with one person.

You can be a bit condescending sometimes NE...that said, while I don't think it's a tactic aimed at punishing anyone an argument I wouldn't say would have to necessitate a permanent departure...so that probably won't happen, but who knows...you could've said something you shouldn't have touched and really offended him, it's not like your cultures are carbon copy and it's not like a person can't get fired up when they want to.

Hahah, threads like this kind of make me glad I don't really socialise with forum folks "outside said forum" anymore...it's like you're all up in eachothers shit, facebook this, phone/email that...can't the guy take a while off be it to cool his heels or whatever without the whiny shit making him feel obligated to come back and re-assemble your shattered online lives that clearly just won't be the same without the "Avi likes this" comments to your status?
Not to mention maybe he doesn't want everyone to know each and every individual with whom he has contact and how???

Well I hope he comes back. Whatever you may think of him he did at least put a lot of effort into making this website fun for those who dwell here.

But c'mon dude...you had almost 25 people lined up for the BR, including quite a few newer folk. Which is just what we needed for this site to expand....ya gotta get the new people involved in order for them to stick around.
