I wish it had more of a sense of humor. I thought it took itself way too seriously. I like the premise, I like the kills, but I wish it had been a bit lighter.

I don't know if I'd say it took itself way too seriously. I think its intent was to be nasty and over the top (something I love about 80s slashers). Did you see the shitstorm it caused upon release in the doco Going To Pieces?
