2001: A Space Oddessy

What a load of crap! That is my no. 1 least favourite film of all time. All of that artsy fartsy crap makes me sick to my arse!

I think Alien3 is underrated. I found it enjoyable, it kept the claustraphobic theme of the original and though the effects were lacking, I thought the way it took it in a new direction and had such an anticlimax made it something new and exciting as well as reminding us of the original.

The soundtracks are great- many of them better than the movies.

I'm gonna get it for this one, but I thought The Abyss was dreadful. I'm willing to sit through a long movie any day of the week, but when the payoff is as cheezy and superficial as this one, I get angry. It just seems like an hour could have been cut off of it and the movie would seem a lot less pretentious.

Hopkins underrated? By whom? He's generally considered one of the greatest living actors.
