As much of a cat lover as I am, I never had an attraction to this breed. Sorry, Chrono! But, congrats on your new baby! I'm glad she's out from under the bed - I was going to tell you you just have to have patience when you first bring them home and let them get used to their surroundings. I've had cats all my life, so if you need any advice, feel free to post me a message or send me a PM.

No apologies - Most people are slightly repulsed by the breed. We choose a Sphynx because the boyfriend is allergic... And even if his problem is the dander, the Sphynx cat requires weekly bathings, so that should alleviate the allergic reaction... Hopefully. And if I have questions, I'll definitely drop you a line. :)

I wasn't sure that I'd like the breed either, but she has the sweetest disposition...

I actually brought her to the Vet today and the Vet was thrilled. She was like, "First time I've seen one of these! Mind if I bring her around?" So she carried little Ripley around the office to show her off... She's the cutest thing; she keeps attacking my laptop because of the clicking of the keyboard.

You just can't resist, can you? ;)

...

I finally got some pictures of her awake. There's still a little blurry, but at least you can see those beautiful baby blues:

Being a kitten is such a rough life.

Note the skin hanging off of the bones. Our new nickname for her is our little Cornish game hen.
