 |  yeah, you're thinking of oldboy , which is the second film in chan-wook park's "vengeance trilogy." it goes:
 sympathy for mr. vengeance (2002)oldboy (2003)lady vengeance (2005)
 
ichi the killer is great, though. one of my favorite gore-fests (and a really neat yakuza film to boot).

 |  excellent! you'll love it. it's very different from the rest of the asian horror catalogue. it's more like onibaba , a real work of art that happens to be a horror film. be sure to let me know what you think of it.
